How do I Create and Update ipushpull PDF Pages?

ipushpull lets you share PDFs with your colleagues and clients using our PDF pages. You can control access to your PDFs using our page access control tools, prevent users from downloading documents if you don't want them to, and monitor usage in real time.

You can either host your PDF files on a file sharing service like Dropbox or OneDrive, or upload them to ipushpull and we will host them securely for you.

This article describes how to create and update PDF pages in ipushpull.

Creating PDF Pages

To create a PDF Page:

  1. Click on the circular green New Page button at the bottom of your page list. The Create New Page screen will be displayed.
  2. If you have more than one folder, use the dropdown to select the folder where you want to create the page.
  3. Enter a name for your page (this does not have to be the same as your PDF filename).
  4. Select PDF Page from the Page Type dropdown.
  5. Press the Create button.

Your new page will be created. This screen lets you choose how to upload your PDF to ipushpull:

Drag-and-Drop a PDF from your Computer to ipushpull

The simplest way to upload a file is by dragging it from another application (e.g. Windows Explorer) and dropping inside the dotted rectangle. The rectangle will turn green. Click on the Save button to upload the file.

Upload a PDF from your Computer to ipushpull

Click the Upload Document button to display a file browser. Browse to the PDF you want to upload, select it, then click the Open button. Click on the Save button to upload the file.

Choose from the files you have already uploaded to ipushpull

If you want your page to display a PDF you have already uploaded to ipushpull, click the Choose Existing button. This displays a file browser showing all the files you have previously uploaded to ipushpull. Highlight the file you want to display and click Save.

Upload a file from another website or service

The From URL button lets you either display a file hosted on another website or service (e.g. Dropbox) or copy the file from that service and host it on ipushpull.

Copy the URL to the file from your browser. Make sure you have a direct link to the PDF.

If you want to continue to host the file on the other service and make use of ipushpull's superior access control and monitoring facilities, click Save. The file will remain on the remote site and will not be copied across.

If you want to copy the file and host it on ipushpull, tick the Upload document from URL checkbox then click Save. The file will be copied to ipushpull and hosted on our secure servers.
