You can now Manage your ranges and keep track of the ranges that you use most. The Manage functions lists all the Shared Ranges and Live Charts in your spreadsheet, you can also set up Manual Pushes or Manual Pulls to be Managed so you can come back to them at a later time.
With Manage you can also update all the data in one go with Push All/Pull All data, select to keep ranges Active or Paused, or Push Formats for Shared Ranges.
How to view the Manage menu
The Manage button is located in the ipushpull ribbon and can be brought up at any stage, to view, edit or delete existing Managed elements.
Manage Shares column descriptions
Elements: This shows the kind of ipushpull operation being performed on the range or chart in your spreadsheet
Type: The type of function that is being performed on the range or chart in your spreadsheet Manual or Live.
Name: You can add a name for your operation
Location: The specific location within Excel, described in the “[WorkBook]Sheet!Range|Chart” format
Page: The ipushpull page the data is located at
Folder: The folder within ipushpull your data is located at
Status: The time of your last data update
Active: Choose to keep your operation active or paused
Set up Manual Push/Pull ranges to appear as Managed
To set up a Manual Push or Pull as Managed, you can click on the dropdown in the ipushpull ribbon and click “Managed”. You can follow the steps to set up a Manual Push or Pull as normal. At the end the Managed window will appear, listing all the Managed Shares you have set up.
In the Managed window you can also Delete or Select your Manual Push or Pull, as well as Push or Pull your data on request. Clicking Select lets you locate the Manual Push or Manual Pull range within your worksheet.
Set up a Managed Shared Range
To set up a Shared Range select the range you want to share and click on the Share button. You can follow the steps to set up a Shared Range in the help article below:
In the Managed window you can also Delete or Select your Shared Range, Push Formats from your Excel sheet, as well as Define Push-only cells.
Defining Push-only cells lets you keep your cells from being overwritten by other users in order to keep the data in your sheet.
Try resizing a Shared range, ipushpull resizes your range automatically when you insert or delete rows or columns in your spreadsheet. All cells previously selected and recently added remain in the Shared Range.
Share and Manage a Live Chart
You can set up a Live Chart to update to an ipushpull page, select that chart and in the ipushpull ribbon click Push and Live. You can follow the steps to set up a Live Chart in the help article below:
In the Managed window you can also Delete or Select your Live Chart, as well as Push your Live Chart on request. Clicking Select lets you locate the Live Chart within your worksheet.
You also have the options to:
Push All or Pull All data on request within the Manage Shares window. This lets you update all your Managed data and charts simultaneously to the platform they are shared to.
Name your Element, by clicking on the Element row and typing the chosen name.
